Support Staff Workshop

The Support Staff Workshop is an opportunity for support staff to network with their counterparts across the state, to share information, to participate in valuable training sessions, and have some fun doing it!

The Education Committee is responsible for coordinating the Support Staff Workshop. This workshop would not happen without the generous contributions and support of the associate members.

Workshop starts at 1:00 p.m. October 27th and ends at noon on October 28th Location: The Lodge of Deadwood, Deadwood, SD.

Rooms will be held until October 17, 2011 with the following rates:

 10 rooms available for state rate with proper I.D.
10 rooms available non-state rate at $79.00

SDASFAA Refund Policy:

  • All requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent to the Treasurer for approval.
  • A 100% refund is granted if the request is received at least 15 calendar days prior to the start of the activity. The treasurer will confirm that the fee was received, issue the refund, and notify the committee chair.
  • For requests not received in the timeframe listed above, a request for a refund, up to 50%, upon approval of the Treasurer and the President, may be granted if extenuating circumstances prevent a member from attending the conference. Requests must be received no later than 15 days after the activity.
    • A 100% refund may be allowed for immediate family medical reasons or death in the immediate family or for persons who have resigned from their employing institution prior to the start of the conference.
